Good idea for runners

A wonderful experience, must do!

What an amazing experience. Like going for a run with your local running friends at home only this is a group of passionate Italians who love showing wide eyed foreigners their beautiful city. They will take you (at any pace you are comfortable) to all the major sights and landmarks of Rome. They are very knowledgeable and will explain the history and culture as you go. This is better than any normal guided tour, and a great way to fight jetlag too. Highly recommended for any level of runner.

Roman Empire run

I took the Roman Empire run with Dario. I was supposed to be doing it with my husband who had cancelled and i ended up doing it alone. Dario was extremely flexible. I even arrived 10 minutes late after getting lost on the way. He was right there waiting for me at the agreed on location. The run itself was around 5k. We passed through the colloseum, the circo massimo and other locations. He is quite the runner so if you are doing this to squeeze in a run during the holiday go for it, you will also enjoy a good scenery and a nice chat with a local.

Amazing Early Morning Sight Seeing Run Through Rome

I met Fabrizio early on a Sunday morning and he took me on an awesome adventure to countless iconic monuments in Rome and then some lesser known gems. So early in the morning these places, which were jam packed later in the day, felt like they were all to the two of us. It was an incredible way to see Rome. As an avid runner and a history nerd, I was in heaven. I enjoyed every single step. I would highly recommend this to any runner in Rome.
